Core Conditioning

Better Email, Booked Workshops, and the Data to Prove Both.

Core Conditioning is a boutique Pilates and physical therapy studio in Studio City that runs a nationally-attended teacher-training program. Three years in, they run their whole marketing operation — email, campaigns, listings, workshops — through Gaviso CXA.

Outcomes

47-53% Email open rate (vs 25-30% benchmark)
99%+ Deliverability
3+ yrs Retained client
1.4% Widget-to-lead conversion

The Challenge

Core Conditioning is a serious clinical studio — Balanced Body teacher training, in-house physical therapists, a Studio City location plus a Burbank clinic. What they weren't doing was serious marketing. A June 2025 audit put them at 42% overall: no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no Facebook Pixel, no active SEO, business listings only 43% accurate, and a growing tail of unresponded reviews. Meanwhile the operational side was chewing owner time — every workshop cohort meant a fresh Squarespace form, a fresh welcome sequence, a fresh round of edits to the site. The owners are clinicians. They wanted line-by-line control over voice, imagery, and approvals. What they needed was an agency that could operate the platform for them without disappearing the review loop.

The Approach

We run Core Conditioning on Gaviso CXA. Workshop-registration forms feed a lifecycle sequence for each cohort — welcome, prep, follow-up — with no re-keying between systems. The monthly newsletter runs on a "Move of the Month" pattern with rotating instructors, drafted AI-first and approved through Ziflow before it ships. Community campaigns like myBurbank's Best get their own flow: a lead-capture widget on the site, an email sequence to the list, and a post-mortem report the owners can read in five minutes. Behind the scenes we handle DNS moves (EMR migration to Stride Therapy), list-capacity uplifts, staff-page rewrites, and a full Jobs page — all on a brand-safe voice the owners sign off on at every step.

The Outcome

Retention. Three-plus years continuous, with the 2026 annual partnership signed in November 2025. On the 2026 myBurbank's Best push, open rates landed at 47-53% against a health-and-fitness industry benchmark of 25-30%, with deliverability at 99%+ and hard bounces near zero. The campaign converted at 32.7% instruction-to-vote. The January 2026 Movement Principles widget pulled 652 unique views and 9 captured leads at 1.4% conversion. The 25 July Reformer 3 workshop filled and generated a waitlist, prompting a second cohort. The categories the 2025 audit flagged as missing — listings, review response, form intake, welcome sequences, campaign reporting — are all in-band now, reporting monthly.
